The APAC Search Awards recognise and celebrate the successes of Search professionals in the APAC region who achieve exceptional growth, increase engagement and add value to their clients. We are proud to announce that we have won eight awards at the 2023 APAC Search Awards!
We are extremely proud to see Supplement Mart win three awards this year, including Best SEO Campaign.
Our technical and data-driven SEO strategy has outperformed all other similar sized companies on Shopify and has pushed Organic Search into the top performing channel across all metrics for the website.
Most M2-to-Shopify migrations fail, or at best have a 12-month recovery, but we were able to minimise any damage and return the site to keyword growth in a mere six months. Our careful preparation and strategy enabled sharp (and sustained) keyword and traffic growth.
Supplement Mart has been one of Megantic’s most successful Shopify campaigns in our agency’s history, which is a huge achievement on the back of a Magento 1 URL structure and code stack.
This is our first win with client Direct Wholesale but not our first with our partner agency, Adcore.
Direct Wholesale is a dedicated Australian online electrical and plumbing supplies store. With the combined support of both Megantic and Adcore, they have risen to a level where they can compete online with the large online players like Middys, Sparkies and MJS Electrical.
We challenged ourselves to innovate and went back to the data, leveraging each agency’s proprietary technology and systems to find new ways to grow Direct Wholesale’s key metrics. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved in a short period of time and have delivered significant increases in UX, SEO/ SEM and overall business metrics.

We also took out the awards for Most Innovative Campaign and Best Use Of Data in a Search Campaign with our client Black Mango.
Together, we were able to discover an overlooked niche within the furniture market, and completely restructure the website categorisation based on this research. Our data driven approach to basing keywords research on a site identity of “Modern” and “Designer” helped us compete and gain a larger slice of a smaller organic market.
We have met and exceeded every goal we have set, and the client believes we are the “best decisions [they] have made for [their] business”.

A key element that sets this campaign apart from similar campaigns was the strength of our relationship with the team at Bondi Born. We were seen as a partner and not someone working for them, and they trusted us with making changes that they initially were not comfortable with. Over the span of a few months, we were able to educate them to remove their automatic geo IP redirects, a process which they believed was the right decision.
The removal of this and the implementation of a sitewide hreflang element has led to extreme growth. We have successfully over delivered on all campaign objectives and provided a genuine impact on Bondi Born’s key metrics. Learn more about our strategy with Bondi Born on our case study.
