Road Runner Offroad is a trusted Australian brand specialising in supplying and manufacturing high-quality aftermarket 4x4 parts and accessories. With a wide range of products including suspension parts, winches, roof racks, recovery gear, and more, they cater to the needs of offroad enthusiasts worldwide.

Insight

We began working with Road Runner Offroad in February 2021 with the aim to improve their online visibility and increase organic traffic to their website. They had recently experienced a significant drop in search visibility and organic channel growth, so our primary challenge was reversing this, and facilitating growth in a timely manner.

Our Approach

As the automotive industry is known for its highly competitive nature, we decided that instead of targeting general search terms, we would target products that had a high ROI and profit margin. We re-mapped the URL site architecture accordingly, using our keyword research to better suit customer search behaviour and the online market. This helped bring key categories and products to the surface in search results.

 

We also:
  • Opened 428 new entry points for users to enter the site.
  • Optimised the top menu based on buyer search behaviour, increasing relevance and enhancing the shopping experience.
  • Executed a custom sidebar with indexable static links that act as internal links from top level down categories, creating a vertical specific sales funnel.
  • Wrote custom meta data based on market research for all new category pages.
  • Identified unique keywords and low-competition long-tail keywords with high buying intent.

In the past 17 months (November 2021 to April 2023), we have seen great growth with Road Runner Offroad.
