2025 APAC Search Awards is an annual event that recognises and celebrates the best in SEO, PPC, and digital marketing across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. It awards agencies, in-house teams, and individuals who have demonstrated excellence in search engine optimization (SEO), paid search (PPC), and content marketing.

Megantic was crowned winner in three categories – these wins highlight our clients as they do our agency, and we’re incredibly proud of the work we do and how we do it.

Hello Molly

Hello Molly is an Australian women’s fashion brand born out of the belief that every girl should have access to on-trend wardrobe essentials that don’t break the bank.

A  goal of this campaign was to increase non-branded sessions by 100% year-on-year. Hello Molly’s objectives when choosing to engage Megantic was to grow their organic channels in both Australia and US – both tough competitive markets. They wanted to get seen, grow their audience, prepare for the future and attract new shoppers by increasing non-branded traffic and sales. Faced with an already established site that was receiving high-traffic, our holistic approach to SEO has helped aid the fashion powerhouse in sustainable growth in competitive markets, in Australia and The United States. 

Executing Hello Molly’s Organic Search Strategy: A Three-Stage Approach

Stage 1: Keyword Research

  • Our first priority was refining Hello Molly’s site structure to enhance both SEO and user experience (UX) on Shopify. Working closely with their team, we:
    Conducted in-depth keyword research to align SEO goals with UX best practices.
  • Established a clear website identity under “Women’s Fashion,” structuring taxonomy into second-level categories (e.g., dresses, rompers, tops, bottoms) and third/fourth-level attributes (e.g., color, trend, occasion, size).
  • Ensured URLs covered a wide range of search intents, including shape, season, and trending styles.

Stage 2: Shopify Implementation

  • With the keyword research in place, we moved into execution mode, focusing on SEO-optimized technical enhancements on Shopify:
    Developed indexable, SEO-friendly sub-categories and filters to improve product discovery.
  • Improve efficiency of H1 tags and collection pages to better target search queries.
  • Configured robots.txt to manage duplications and ensure only high-value filter collections were crawled and indexed—avoiding unnecessary, stacked URLs.
  • Crafted and implemented 45 pages of unique metadata across Hello Molly’s AU and US sites, with ongoing rollouts to keep content fresh and engaging for search engines.

Stage 3: Ongoing Growth & Support

  • To sustain and scale Hello Molly’s organic success, we continuously refine and enhance their strategy with:10-15 backlinks per month (via link outreach, social engagement, and image-based posts).
  • Regular product page optimizations, including optimised URL paths, metadata, and schema markup.
  • Proactive site maintenance, addressing soft 404s, retired products, and implementing necessary redirects.
  • Trend monitoring & content expansion—identifying new product opportunities, attributes, and search trends to stay ahead of the competition.

By combining technical expertise with continuous content and backlink strategies, we keep Hello Molly ahead in the competitive fashion eCommerce space.

By laying a strong SEO foundation, we set the stage for greater discoverability and search rankings.

  • Organic revenue (AUS & US): +148% increase
  • First-page keyword rankings (US): +299% increase
  • First-page keyword rankings (AUS): +212% increase
  • Improved site navigation & menu structure: Boosted visibility for high-value product categories
  • Moved Hello Molly to to a Headless CMS.
