Introduction

S-kin Studio is a fine jewellery brand that sells high-quality, everyday jewellery. From earrings to necklaces and rings, S-kin’s designs are timeless, simple and sophisticated. Their jewellery is tarnish-resistant, and is made with ethical and environmentally-conscious practices.

Insight

We began working with S-kin Studios in May 2022 with the aim of boosting their Organic Search, which was the most lacking channel. Due to the competitive nature of the jewellery industry, they were struggling with SEO and business overall, especially with new competitors entering the market during COVID lockdowns in Australia.

Our Approach

Due to low branded search volume, we focused on identifying a niche that competitors were not optimised for, using data research to target “sustainable”, “ethical”, and “minimalist” jewellery keywords with a high search volume. Applying this data to the homepage and entire on-site setup, we established a unique selling point and drove traffic to our site.

 

We also:
  • Opened 119 new category SEO sales points of entry.
  • Crafted custom meta descriptions, explaining each category with unique selling points to drive CTR, such as “Ethical”, “Gold Filled”and “Minimalist”.
  • Identifying limited menu options that affected how customers shopped for the entire product range.
  • Using keyword research and Google Analytics to find the best-selling products and introduced shopping by material.
  • Displaying only related subcategories with in each product vertical for a smoother shopping experience.
