Introduction

The White Collection is a Sydney-based wedding shoes and accessories store. They stock designers such as Charlotte Mills and Bella Belle, a range of heel heights and heel styles. Most of their shoes are white, nude and ivory, but they also provide less-common wedding shoe colours like blue and black, and features like pearls, beads and bows. Their jewellery collection is luxurious and perfect for any special occasion, and their hair pieces finish the look with a pop of sparkle in a veil or crown.

Insight

The White Collection first engaged Megantic in June 2021. After a heavily impacted COVID period, there was immense focus to capitalise on an evolved market with a significant backlog of weddings and against a new set of competitors post-COVID. Our work with The White Collection was a finalist for the Best Use of Search (eCommerce) award at the 2024 APAC Search Awards and the Best Online Marketing Campaign (Retail) at the 2023 Semrush Search Awards.

Our Approach

We researched the organic market opportunities for The White Collection and created a new website structure. 152 new category pages were opened to act as SEO sales points of entry, including shoe type (sandals, heels), shoe features, shoe fit, and accessory variants. After consulting with the client, we reworked their top-menu to be user and SEO-friendly and have had several iterations as their range has expanded.

We also:

  • Created site bar filters as indexable static collections, instead of dynamic filters.
  • Optimised metadata sitewide by using a combination of broad and long-tailed keywords.
  • Created 256 backlinks consisting of a wide variety of different support links.
  • Consulted on acquiring new, relevant product ranges and expansion to include additional designers.
  • Consulted heavily around strong, SEO-focused blog pieces for The White Collection team to write in house.
  • Activated two key campaigns for Afterpay Day and Black Friday.

Year on Year Results

In only one year (August 2022 to August 2023), we have seen exciting growth with The White Collection, including some of the strongest months on record for revenue.

Our work with The White Collection stands out as one of our most successful; we have seen exceptional growth in a vastly competitive market post-covid due to new competition. Our focus is always to bring in educated traffic to the website and drive conversions on-site through CRO activities.
